April Blog Hop Home Decor

April - Home Decor Blog Hop
Welcome to our April Blog Hop featuring a Home Decor project of our choosing.  With Spring not so far off we have been trying to finish up some projects....i just question if things are ever really done? there is always just one more idea, one more tweak. In October of last year we featured the canvas journal. We designed a Recipe Journal with quilled veggies, this was to be a set including a recipe box. With a new counter top coming and the need to finish up a few projects this set finally has been completed, or I thought it was but as I sit here and type a utensil holder to match would also look pretty good in that particular space....below are a few shots of the pieces so far.

List of supplies:
My Creations Canvas Journal & Recipe Box
Dimensional Element (recipes title is attached to it)
Bonding Glue
Glamour Glitter Alphabet
VersaMark Ink Pad
Craft Heater
Clear Embossing Powder
Dakota Paper Packet
Quilling Tool
Cardstock in multiple colors( New England Ivy, Autumn Terracotta, Colonial White, Barn Red, and a few retired colors)
Kraft Paper
Stamp from the Scholastic Workshop

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

  8. Awesome project! I just learned how to quill and love the veggies. Did you design them yourself or did you have a pattern to follow? I've only done caterpillars and flowers so far, would love to branch out a little.
